This Privacy Policy explains in simple terms how we handle personal data when you use m-pathy.

2. Categories of data
We process, as far as necessary, the following categories of data: • Usage data and log data of the website • Account and contact data that you actively provide • Content of your prompts and responses that you actively send to the system • Technical metadata such as time, browser type and basic device information
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use your data in particular • to provide and operate m-pathy, • to secure and technically maintain the service, • to answer support requests and • to comply with statutory retention and documentation duties. If and to the extent that the GDPR applies, the legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in secure and efficient operation).
4. Processors and recipients
We use carefully selected service providers for hosting, infrastructure, analytics without personal profiles and payment processing (for example Stripe). These processors are contractually bound to process data only according to our instructions and in line with applicable data protection law.
5. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Log data are usually kept for a short technical period only. Contract-relevant data may be stored for longer in order to comply with commercial and tax retention obligations.
6. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you have in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
7. Use of AI services
m-pathy uses AI models that process the prompts you send. We pay attention to technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system can be perfectly secure. Please do not enter highly sensitive content that you would never want to leave your device.
